Summer is on the home stretch . . .

It is hard to believe that Summer is winding it's way down. The days are slowly getting shorter and yesterday being our first rain in weeks gave a nice reminder of what we have to look forward to. Things have been so busy recently that as you can tell I am a little behind on our blog here so bare with me as I catch you up.

Carson Ridge has been crazy busy which is spectacular. We have hosted guests from all over the world and at his point we are not slowing down. Our new packages have proven to be in high demand as the Wind Surfing and Kite Boarding lessons with Hood River Water Play have left guests ready for the next wind and of course Zoller's white water rafting trips have more then fulfilled expectations on those triple digit temperature days. We cannot leave out however the massive Salmon and Sturgeon that have made their way back with our guests experiencing the ultimate in guided fishing offered by Steve's guide Service.

Although the above are on the extreme side our more lay ed back guests have not been disappointed with the various hikes we have sent them on. Some gorgeous photos have also came back of spectacular waterfalls and beautiful scenery all tucked away here in the Columbia River Gorge. Off the trails Martin with Martins Gorge Tour's has kept guests busy experiencing the local tastes of our neighborhood . . . Having 30 + wineries in a short 30 mile radius makes for a exciting afternoon.

Now what have we been doing? Well aside from almost completing our new Healing Center which is located off our main building we are in the planning process of actually starting construction on our three new Luxury Suites this Fall. We are thrilled to be able to offer the new suites to our guests as well as complete our planned yoga platform, garden expansion and property development. This all in mind for our goal of being an exclusive state of the art retreat enabling you to fully relax & rejuvenate you mind, body and soul.
