Hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of streams and rivers flow into the Columbia, making it the fourth-largest river in the US. The Columbia drain basin is the size of France, capturing rainwater and snow runoff from seven states.
With all those tributaries busily transporting our melting winter snow, no wonder white-water rafting is so popular and so much fun here. Especially when you end your day with a soothing massage in the privacy of our Washington luxury cabins.
