About AniChe Cellars
AniChe Cellars combines the owner’s love of art, science, and winemaking for an outstanding winery experience. The owner, Rachael, always dreamed of creating a legacy for her family, and now she has one with AniChe Cellars. There are many things that make this winery unique, but one of the most impressive is that the entire winemaking team is female. In an almost male-dominated industry, Rachael wants to stand out from the rest and inspire other women to become leaders no matter what challenges are in their way.
Environmental Impact
At Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins, it is important to be environmentally friendly. We go to great lengths to make sure our property is as green as possible, and so does AniChe Cellars. All of their grapes are locally grown, and they compost all of the grape stems, skins, and seeds back into the soil. Their plastic storage tanks are recycled, and the glass bottles are made from 30% recycled glass.
The Wines
AniChe Cellars produces a variety of whites and reds. As a boutique winery, they produce small batches, so you never know what will be available during your visit. They specialize in blended wines; each has been expertly created based on flavor profile with European influences. Taste the science at play as the bartender tells you about each grape that goes into the wine you are trying.
Visiting AniChe Cellars
AniChe Cellars is open to visitors Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. You are able to enjoy a tasting, and you can opt for the wines to be paired with a variety of fruits, nuts, and cheeses. Tastings are $10 for 6 pours. We recommend enjoying a tasting, then get a glass of your favorite to enjoy as you look out and enjoy the views of the Columbia River.
